How To Create/Save A Package

Written by AQ Help Desk

What you can do

  • Save a package as a template to reuse in future proposals.

  • Optionally include child units when saving the template.

Save a package as a template

  1. Open any Package modal during the Add Inventory step.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the modal.

  3. Enter a Template Name.

  4. Check Save as template (optionally check Include child units).

  5. Click Submit Package.

    • The template will be available for your next proposal.

Add a package from a template

  1. Click Add package from template.

  2. Start typing to search by template name and select the template.

  3. Edit any fields to tailor the package to the RFP brief.

    • Changes here do not modify the saved template.

  4. Submit the package as usual.

Definitions

  • Package
A single line item representing a group of inventory in an RFP.

    • Children (Child Units)
Locations associated with the parent package (e.g., a sample list of transit shelters or a rotary billboard program).

      • *Note: Child locations do not have to be finalized site selections.

  • Template
A saved package configuration used as a starting point to speed submission. Editing fields after selecting a template updates the current package only, not the template itself.

    • *Note: Your package template is saved and available via Add package from template on future RFPs.
