How To List Moving Or Mobile Inventory

How to assign latitude and longitude to mobile LED trucks and other moving media so it plots in the right market.

Written by Zachary Cuva

All inventory on AdQuick needs latitude and longitude coordinates, which is awkward for media that does not stay in one place. For moving or mobile media, assign coordinates representing the city or market your media operates in.

Example

If you run mobile LED trucks in Charlotte, North Carolina, use coordinates for the city center — 35.226394, -80.844255. That plots your product in the Charlotte market, which is how a buyer will look for it.

Finding The Coordinates

  • The inventory template has a dedicated tab listing DMA coordinates for every market. This is the easiest route and keeps you consistent with how other operators are plotted.

  • Any online mapping tool, such as Google Maps, to find a city or market center.

*Note: Transit operators typically create one unit per market or DMA rather than trying to represent a route.
