Templates let you save a package once and reuse it on future RFPs instead of rebuilding it each time.
Definitions
Term | Meaning |
Package | A single line item representing a group of inventory in an RFP. |
Children (child units) | The individual locations that make up a package — a sample list of transit shelters, a rotary program. They do not have to be final site selections. |
Template | A saved package configuration used as a starting point. Editing fields after applying a template changes the current package only, never the template. |
Save a Package as a Template
Build the package as normal — see How To Create A Package In An RFP.
On the Review step, tick Save this package as a new template.
Enter a Template name.
Click Create Package.
The template is then available on any future RFP.
*Note: A package you started from a template cannot be saved as a new template — the option is hidden.
Use a Template on an RFP
On Add Inventory or Unit Details, click Packages, then Add From Template.
Find it — search by name, or filter by Media Type, Screen Type or Market.
Select it. The details load into the package wizard.
Edit anything you need for the brief, then finish with Add Package.
Changes apply to this package only. The saved template is unchanged.
Manage Your Templates
Open Manage Templates in the Requests navigation bar to see everything you have saved.
New Template builds one from scratch, without an open RFP.
Search and filter as above.
Each card has a menu with Edit, Clone and Delete. Clone is useful for making a variant without touching the original.
