How To Review And Remove POIs

How your POIs are grouped, how to find one in a long list, and how to remove one, a group, or all of them.

Everything you have added appears under POIs Added in the POIs panel, with a count beside it. A long list is normal after a file import, and this is where you tidy it up.

If you have not added anything yet, the panel simply reads "No POIs added yet."


How Your POIs Are Grouped

POIs are grouped for you automatically — there is nothing to set up.

  • They are grouped first by market. A market needs at least two POIs in it to form a group.

  • Within a market they are grouped again by name, so every branch of the same chain sits together.

  • Anything that does not fall into a market group is listed under Other.

This is what makes a list of several hundred imported locations readable, and it is what lets you remove a whole city or a whole chain in one action.


Finding One POI In A Long List

Use the Filter added POIs search box to narrow the list by name. This searches only what you have already added, so it will not pull in new places.

It is the quickest way to check whether a specific location made it in after an import.


Removing POIs

Open the POI actions menu on that row and remove it.

A whole group

Use the actions menu on the group heading to clear every POI in that market or chain at once.

Everything

Click Remove all POIs at the top of the panel.

*Note: Removing POIs cannot be undone from the panel — you would need to search for them or re-import the file. Before using Remove all POIs on a list you imported, make sure you still have the original spreadsheet.


When To Prune Your List

Two situations are worth acting on:

  • POIs outside your markets. These contribute nothing, because inventory is only matched inside the locations you chose. They also clutter the map.

  • Too many POIs in one city. Once their radius circles overlap into a continuous shape, they are no longer narrowing anything. Removing the densest cluster usually gives a more useful plan than reducing the radius.
