Manage → Units is where most execution work happens. Select units, choose an action, and it applies to all of them — which turns an afternoon of clicking into a couple of minutes.
How It Works
Open Manage → Units.
Select the units you want to act on.
Choose an action from the bulk actions list.
Securing Inventory
Action | What it does |
Request Avails | Asks media owners whether the selected units are available for your dates. |
Request Holds | Asks for the units to be held for you. The step between confirmed availability and booking. |
Hold Extension | Asks for more time on holds that are about to expire. |
Mark Selected Units as Booked | Records units as booked once the buy is agreed. |
*Note: Hold Extension is the one people find too late. Filter your plan by Hold Expired and you will usually find units that quietly lapsed — extending before they expire is far easier than re-securing them afterwards.
Adjusting Units
Action | What it does |
Adjust Dates | Changes flight dates on the selected units without editing the whole campaign. |
Adjust Unit Pricing | Updates prices, for instance after negotiating a rate. |
Mass Update Production Cost | Sets production cost across everything selected. |
Revert Production Cost | Undoes a mass production cost update. |
Update Spec Sheets | Refreshes the technical specifications on the selected units. |
Paperwork And People
Generate Contract — produces the contract for the selected units.
Assign Contacts — sets which people at the media owner deal with these units.
Remove Units — takes them off the campaign.
**Note: Not every action appears for every account, and the list adapts to what you have selected. If something you expect is missing, check with an admin on your account.
Working In Batches
Bulk actions apply one set of values to everything selected, so select deliberately. Requesting holds across a hundred mixed units is fine, because the request is the same for all of them. Adjusting pricing across a hundred mixed units is not, because they do not share a price.
A reliable habit: select by media owner. Most of this work is a conversation with one company, and batching that way keeps your actions matched to the negotiation.
