Your budget tells the planner what scale of campaign you are building, and gives media owners the context they need when they respond to your request.
Entering Your Budget
Open the Budget step.
Type your total budget into the field.
Click outside the field to save it.
Enter the whole campaign budget, not a monthly or per-market figure.
What Your Budget Affects
The budget does not filter inventory out of your plan. Units are matched on your dates, locations and formats, and the budget sits alongside them as the target you are working to.
Watch it against the Est. CPM and Matched Units figures in the Campaign Overview panel as you build. If the estimated cost of your matched inventory is well above your budget, narrowing formats or markets is usually more effective than cutting dates.
Changing It Later
You can revise the budget at any point while the campaign is still a draft, and after it is created. Nothing about your plan is recalculated destructively when you change it.
*Note: If you are unsure of the final number, put in your working figure rather than leaving it blank. Media owners use it to judge what to offer, and an empty budget invites proposals at the wrong scale.
