How To Manage Users And Permissions

How admins add, edit, and remove team members, plus the email domain rule, inviting several people at once, and why SSO accounts are read-only.

Written by Zachary Cuva

Administrators can manage the team members on their account — adding new users, updating permissions, and removing existing members.

*Note: Only users with Admin permissions can manage team members.

Accessing the Team Page

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. In the top-right corner, select your name.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select Settings.

  4. Under Organization, select Team.

You will see every member associated with your account, along with whether they have accepted their invitation.

Adding a New Team Member

  1. Select + Add Member.

  2. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.

  3. Assign the appropriate role.

  4. Send the invitation.

For a full breakdown of every role and what it unlocks, see How To Correctly Assign Media Owner User Roles.

Inviting Several People At Once

You can invite multiple team members in one step by entering their email addresses separated by commas. Everyone in the batch receives the same role.

*Note: Invitations are sent as a group. If any address in the batch is invalid or rejected, none of the invitations are sent, and the error message identifies the address that caused the problem. Correct it and submit again.

Email Domain Requirement

If your account has a company email domain on file, the address of the invited user must match it.

For example, if your company email domain is @dreamoutdoors.com, all invited team members must also use @dreamoutdoors.com. If the domain does not match, the platform returns an error and the invitation is not sent.

*Note: Installer invitations are exempt from the domain requirement, since installers are often third-party crews with their own email addresses.

**Note: If the person you are inviting already belongs to a different organization on AdQuick, the invitation is rejected. Contact support and we can help move that user.

Editing User Permissions

  1. Locate the user in the Team member list.

  2. Select the arrow next to their name.

  3. Assign the appropriate role.

Removing a Team Member

  1. Locate the user in the Team member list.

  2. Select Remove next to their name.

  3. Select Yes at the confirmation prompt.

The user is removed from the account and can no longer log in.

Resending an Invitation

If a team member never received their invitation, locate them in the Team member list and resend it. Members who have not yet accepted are marked as pending.

Accounts That Use SSO

If your organization signs in with single sign-on (SSO), your team list is read-only in AdQuick. You can view your members, but adding, editing, and removing users is disabled.

Team membership and roles are managed through your company's identity provider instead. Contact your IT administrator, or reach out to AdQuick support if you need a role changed.
