How To Use The Inventory Excel Parcer

Written by Zachary Cuva

Overview

The Excel Parser allows vendors to upload inventory data directly into the RFP Submission Flow. This article outlines how to upload your Excel file, identify headers and footers, and map your data to AdQuick’s required inventory fields.

Before You Begin

Ensure your Excel sheet includes clearly labeled column headers. These will be used for field mapping.

How to Upload Your Inventory File

Step 1: Start the Upload

  1. Click Respond on the open RFP.

  2. At the Review RFP stage, click Upload Inventory Data in the top-right corner.

  3. Select and upload your Excel file.

A modal titled Upload Inventory File will open.

Step 2: Identify Headers and Footers

Marking a Header Row (Required)

  1. In Step 1 of the modal, locate your header row.

  2. Right-click the correct row and select Mark as Header.

Marking a Footer Row (Optional)

  1. If your file includes a footer row, identify it in Step 2.

  2. Right-click the row and select Mark as Footer.

Once complete, click Set Column Mappings → to continue.

Step 3: Map Your Column Headers

The mapping step is divided into Required Fields and Additional Fields.

*You must complete all Required Fields to proceed.*

How Mapping Works

  • The AdQuick field appears on the left with its definition.

  • Use the drop-down on the right to select the correct column header from your file.

  • The drop-down menu only includes rows marked as headers in Step 1.

  • AdQuick’s AI will auto-map fields when possible, but users should review each mapping carefully.

Important Notes

  • Auto-mapping may be inaccurate if multiple similar column names exist (e.g., several “Price” columns).

  • Verify each field is mapped to the correct header before continuing.

When all fields are correctly mapped, click Complete →.

Step 4: Proceed in the RFP Submission Flow

After completing the Excel Parser:

Your data is now ready for review and submission.
