How To Search By Face ID

Look up a specific unit by the media owner's Face ID or its Geopath Tab Panel ID, and troubleshoot an empty result.

When you already know exactly which unit you want, searching by identifier beats filtering down to it. This is the fastest way to answer "can you check this specific site?"

What A Face ID Is

A Face ID is the media owner's own reference for a unit. It is what appears on their avails sheets and in their correspondence, so it is usually the identifier a client or media owner will quote at you.

A Tab Panel ID is a Geopath panel identifier — the industry measurement reference for a site, independent of any one media owner.

Searching

  1. Open Browse.

  2. Enter the identifier in the Face ID filter, or Tab Panel ID if that is what you have.

  3. The map narrows to the matching unit.

When To Use It

  • A client names a site. They have seen a board and want that one.

  • A media owner sends an avails sheet. Their Face IDs let you look up each site rather than matching on address.

  • Checking a competitor's site. If you know the identifier, you can see its specification and cost.

  • Confirming a unit is the one you think. Addresses can be ambiguous; identifiers are not.

If Nothing Comes Back

A Face ID search that returns nothing usually means one of four things:

  1. A typo. These identifiers are long and easily mistyped.

  2. Wrong identifier type. A Geopath panel ID entered in the Face ID field will not match. Try the other field.

  3. The media owner is not on AdQuick. Their identifiers will not be in the catalogue.

  4. A filter is excluding it. Clear your other filters and search again — this is the most common cause and the easiest to miss.

*Note: Clear your filters before concluding a unit is not there. A Face ID search still respects everything else you have applied, so a price or format filter will hide the very unit you are looking for.
