How To Set Up The AppsFlyer Integration

Written by Zachary Cuva

Overview

AdQuick now supports a direct integration with AppsFlyer, allowing advertisers to send device IDs and in-app event data straight to AdQuick for attribution measurement. This automated connection streamlines app attribution workflows, reduces manual effort, and improves data consistency across campaigns.

This integration supports common mobile events, including:
• App Install
• Account Signup
• Purchase and Revenue Events

Once enabled, all eligible events flow into AdQuick automatically and power your App Attribution Dashboard on the platform.

How Attribution Works

AdQuick app attribution matches device-level exposure data (e.g., mobile ad IDs captured from OOH units) with app activity events provided by AppsFlyer. When an exposed device later completes an install, signup, or purchase event, a match is recorded and attributed to your campaign.

This process allows advertisers to:
• Understand lift and performance across markets
• Validate spend and optimize placements
• Measure conversions tied directly to OOH exposures

Benefits of the AppsFlyer Integration

Connecting AppsFlyer directly to AdQuick provides several operational and reporting advantages:

Streamlined Workflow

You no longer need to manually download in-app event exports and upload them to AdQuick. Events flow continuously in real time.

Reduced Lag Time

Attribution updates occur as events are received—improving visibility into current performance.

Minimized Export Errors

Automated data transfer eliminates common formatting and upload issues.

Standardized Data Format

Events are transmitted in a consistent AppsFlyer schema, improving matching accuracy and report quality.

How to Set Up the AppsFlyer Integration

1. Configure AdQuick as a Destination

Follow AppsFlyer's official partner integration setup guide here:
https://support.appsflyer.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410395957521-Set-up-an-integrated-partner

This guide walks through:
• Selecting AdQuick as a partner
• Enabling device ID forwarding
• Assigning event postbacks
• Configuring integration permissions

2. Select and Configure Events to Send to AdQuick

Ensure the correct in-app events are included in the postback settings. Reference AppsFlyer's event configuration documentation here:
https://support.appsflyer.com/hc/en-us/articles/208439256-In-app-events-postback-configuration#postback-inapp-event-selection

Typical events include:
• install
• af_login / signup
• af_purchase
• custom revenue or funnel events

Once enabled, AppsFlyer sends these events directly to AdQuick.

Completion

Your AppsFlyer integration is now live, and relevant app events will automatically populate your AdQuick attribution dashboards.

If you want, I can also create:
• An internal SOP version
• A seller-facing or advertiser-facing version
• A step-by-step screenshot variant for your Help Center
